Talk To Me About Cats

Talk To Me About Cats, Inc. (TTMAC) is a 501c3 nonprofit TNR (trap-neuter-return) group located in the City of Newburgh. We are dedicated to helping the homeless cat population in Newburgh by building a network of volunteers to use the TNR method, and by educating residents of Newburgh and the surrounding area about the benefits of TNR and how to care for the feral, stray, and abandoned cats in our community by providing ongoing care (food, water, shelter, and medical treatment). TTMAC is committed to growing compassion towards our feline community and when possible places adoptable cats and kittens in both foster and permanent homes.

PLEASE NOTE: While we are happy to help by providing advice & tools, we are a small organization and not an animal removal service. Particularly during "kitten season,” we are overwhelmed with requests to help strays and need to prioritize those in desperate need of help - typically orphaned kittens and severely sick or injured cats. However, there are so many things one can do to help their neighborhood cats - and all you need to do TNR is a little room and the desire to help - we can guide you through the rest. There are also many organizations that provide excellent information on TNR and kittens, including https://www.alleycat.org/, https://www.neighborhoodcats.org/ and https://www.kittenlady.org/
